Lemmon Honor Quilt
This gorgeous quilt was designed and created by Connie Mizera Lemmon VFW Auxiliary #2969 member. The quilt was made for the Fort Meade VA Hospice Care unit and will be given to a veteran upon arrival. When the veteran passes, he/she is covered in the quilt and escorted out of the hospital while the Staff lines the hall and salutes. The quilt is given to the veteran's family in remembrance of his/her military service.
(Showing the Quilt is Connie Mizera and Post #2969 Commander Dave Huber)
